Our Story

A Cup of Tea in Kathmandu
Door Cosmos is one beautiful thing that came out of COVID.
In Kathmandu, Nepal during the long months of lockdown, founder Will Carpenter found solace sitting in the gallery of his friend Kalsang Lama, having a cup of tea, making conversation, and basking in the serene energy of the Nepalese paintings that filled every inch of wall space in that small but powerful space.
The lockdown eventually ended, but the love of beautiful art remained.
If you love something enough, and if it makes a real positive difference in your life, chances are, sooner or later, you will feel the urge to share it with the world.
Thus was Door Cosmos born — a gift to you.
Today, Door Cosmos is a growing collection of sacred, contemplative, and nature-inspired art, with roots in Nepal and the Himalayan world. Through exhibitions and shared experiences, we cultivate moments of presence, beauty, and heartful connection.
Giving Back
Door Cosmos donates 20 percent of all sales directly to the Nepal Youth Foundation, which works to improve the lives of children and families in Nepal through education, healthcare, and community support programs.
